Delivery & Returns

We deliver all of the products on offer. Our Next Day Delivery service is available to most UK postcodes. However, if you find we do not offer this service to your chosen address it is due to courier restrictions. Please try an alternative address or choose a different delivery service.

If you chose Next Day delivery and placed your order before 1.30pm, your order should arrive the following working day between 9am and 5.30pm. You will be advised via a text message or e-mail should there be a delay.

HOW LONG DO STANDARD DELIVERIES TAKE?

We aim to deliver 3/5 working days. The table below shows the estimated delivery date depending on the date of the order. Products can be delivered by our courier at any time of day between 9am and 5.30pm. Note; Saturday and Sunday is NOT a working day.

Working Day means all days from Monday to Friday but excludes Saturday and Sunday. For example an order placed before 1.30pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday but an order placed on Saturday will be delivered on Tuesday. You will be advised via a text message or e-mail should there be a delay.

HOW DOES THE NEXT DAY HOME DELIVERY SERVICE WORK?

If you chose Next Day home delivery and placed your order before 1.30pm, your order should arrive the following working day between 9am and 5.30pm. Working Day means all days from Monday to Friday, but excludes Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. For example, an order placed before 1.30pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday, but an order placed on Saturday will be delivered on Tuesday. You will be advised via a text message or email should there be a delay.

NOTE: NO WEEKEND DELIVERY.  We do not offer a Saturday delivery as a next day service. The Fabric Palace will not be held responsible for weekend delivery. 

Over the Christmas and New Year period our Next Day Home delivery service is not available where the delivery would be due on a Bank holiday. For simplicity, where this happens, we will temporarily remove the Next Day Home delivery option. Our Next Day Home delivery schedule will return to normal as soon as possible.

WHAT ARE THE NORMAL DELIVERY TIMES?

Products can be delivered by our courier at any time of day between 9am and 5.30pm. Can I track my order? Most orders despatched can be tracked, please contact customer services. You will receive an e-mail informing you when your order has been despatched.

CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?

We cannot currently cancel or change orders ONCE DESPATCHED for UK or international customers. Please return your order following the returns process.

DELIVERY DISCLAIMER

Note our delivery dates are estimates supplied by Royal Mail and couriers only. They do not guarantee your goods will arrive in this time period.

IMPORTANT: We cannot be held responsible for late deliveries including orders placed for express services.

We reserve the right to send your order on a tracked and/or signed for service regardless of the delivery option you have chosen should we feel this necessary.

We reserve the right to send your order in multiple parcels, should we not be able to send your order in one parcel due to Royal Mail and Courier restrictions on weight and parcel size.

RETURNS

  1. All costs related to postage for returns will be borne by the buyer unless goods supplied were faulty. In such a case the supplier shall be responsible.
  2. When returning goods, the buyer must inform the supplier prior to dispatching the said goods. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee on all items returned.
  3. Returned goods must be sent requiring a signature from the seller/sellers representative to confirm receipt as title for ownership shall remain with the buyer until such time. Please note we do NOT accept returns of fabrics cut to order and recommend ordering samples prior to purchase of cut lengths.
  4. Once we have received the goods we shall initiate the refund or replacement.
  5. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition or are damaged.

HOW DO I RETURN BY POST?

Once your return has been authorized you can return items to us via Royal Mail. Items returned by post can take up to 10 working days to reach us once you have posted the parcel. When your refund has been processed it can take your card provider 3 to 5 days working days to credit your account. If in doubt, please call our customer services line. In order to avoid unnecessary delays in processing your refund, ensure you use the correct address below The Fabric Palace 2 London Road, Kettering NN15 7PP. If it is sent to the wrong address, it may delay your refund.

  1. Repackage the goods into the original packaging.
  2. Enclose all the relevant details in your parcel.
  3. Take the parcel to a Post Office and obtain a proof of posting.
  4. Retain your proof of posting until you have received your refund. You will need to make your own arrangements through any postal carrier. We'll send you an email to let you know once we've received your return with the details of any refunds and exchanged items. If an item is out of stock we’ll let you know we couldn’t exchange it and issue a refund instead. If an exchange is available, we’ll drop you another email once your new item has left our depot.
